This 42mm watch connects to your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet to give you convenient up-to-the minute notifications, messaging functionality, and more, all while tracking your physical activity and heart rate. The 42mm Watch 2 features a 1.2" circular always-on 390 x 390 AMOLED display covered by Corning Gorilla Glass, and is powered a 1.1 GHz Snapdragon Wear 2100 quad-core processor and 768 MB of RAM. 4GB of storage capacity lets you store music, apps, and more. It runs the Android Wear 2.0 operating system, which connects to Android and iOS mobile devices via Bluetooth 4.1 LE or to Wi-Fi networks. Android Wear 2.0 With the Android Wear 2.0 update, Google's smartwatch platform unbinds itself from your smartphone. A complete overhaul based on Android 7.1. Nougat, it takes some big features from that OS, including the Google Assistant, battery saving settings, and fine control of app permissions. It adds a full-fledged version of the Play Store, so you won't need to shift back and forth between devices to load your apps onto your watch. Design The Watch features a completely circular 42mm face reminiscent of traditional wristwatches. Its buttons are situated at 2 and 4 o'clock for comfort and easy access. The 22mm lug size allows the Watch 2 to accept a wide variety of watch bands.
